§ 301. Platting authority.

From and after the passage of this ordinance, the Jesup-Wayne County Planning Commission shall be the official platting authority, and no plat of a land subdivision shall be entitled to record in the office of the clerk of the Superior Court of Wayne County unless it shall have the approval of the planning commission inscribed thereon. The filing or recording of a plat of a subdivision without the approval of the planning commission as required by this ordinance is declared to be a misdemeanor. Each day such violation continues shall constitute a separate offense.
